How we use your email and contact details

Should you choose to contact us using an email link, or our contact form none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors.
Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Transport Layer Security (TLS).

MindBody Psychology Privacy Statement
I aim to provide a safe space for you to explore and overcome the difficulties that you may be experiencing. Information that you share with me during our appointments is therefore strictly confidential. I will never share your personal identifying information with anyone, except under special circumstances (e.g., if I had serious concerns about your personal safety) and even under those circumstances I would always do my upmost to seek your permission and/or inform you of this first.
Your data
The personal identifying data that I hold about you consists of information that is essential to our work together as Psychologist and client. For example, your name, date of birth and G.P details (only to be used in case of an emergency or if I had concerns about your personal safety). This data is kept strictly confidential. I use a fully-encrypted online practice management system.
I keep notes from my session with each client, which contain essential information about each appointment (i.e., time and place of the appointment, main issues discussed, goals and plan for our next appointment, any risk issues). These notes are stored on a fully encrypted online practice management system and kept strictly confidential.
You have the right to request access to the personal data that I hold about you. You may either request this verbally or in writing. I will act on this request without delay and at the latest within one month of receiving your request.
I will retain the data that I keep about you for seven years for legal purposes after which point I delete all of the personal data I hold about you.
There are special circumstances under which I may need to breach confidentiality. For example, a breach of confidentiality may be necessary under the following circumstances:
· To prevent serious harm to a client or to others (including children)
· To prevent acts of terrorism or to bring a terrorist to justice in the UK
· In the case of a Court Order where I am ordered to produce notes, records or reports from my work with a client
As a Clinical Psychologist I am obliged to engage in regular clinical supervision with an approved supervisor. This is to ensure that I work in a safe and accountable manner and to enable me to provide a high quality clinical and professional service. I engage in monthly supervision with a HCPC registered Psychologist. I may discuss the work that I am undertaking with individual clients with my supervisor. The information that I share with my supervisor is confidential and I avoid disclosing clients’ names or any other identifying information about clients during supervision.
